Names and details of more than 30 million people that use a website that facilitates extra-marital affairs have been leaked onto the internet.

The Ashley Madison site, which connects people looking to cheat on their partners, was hacked a month previously.

Hackers had threatened to reveal the information unless the site was taken down.
